Introduction Of Titanium Pipe Elbows
If you want to connect your pipe at a 30°, 45°, 90° or 180° angle with a titanium pipe elbow, in your pipe systems, our titanium pipe elbows add strength and air-tight security to bends in your pipework. We carry titanium bends in grades 2 and 7, as well as zirconium grade 702. Titanium 45 Degree Elbows and Titanium 90 Degree Elbows in size Range of 1/2″ NB to 48″ NB. All the elbows are manufactured in compliance with ASTM B363, and ASME B16.9. Titanium elbows can be either seamless or welded type intended for general corrosion – resistant and elevated – temperature service.
Processing
Titanium Elbows may be made from billets (ASTM B348), Titanium Plates (ASTM B265), Titanium Forgings (ASTM B381) and Seamless or Welded Pipe or Tube (ASTM B861 & B862).
Forging, forming, or shaping operations may be performed by hammering, pressing, piercing, extruding, upsetting rolling, bending. fusion welding, or by a combination of two or more of these operations. The fittings shall be manufactured in accordance with the dimensional requirements of ASME B16.9. And the materials would be delivered in stress – relieving annealed conditions.
