Maize Degermer removes the germ and bran from corn grains by using the semi-wet process. After proper conditioning, Grains pass by internal chamber, where a rotor (shaft) with special geometry, promotes friction between grains, removing skins, germ from them. The peel and germ (corn bran) are suctioned by a pneumatic system, after passing through perforated screens. The result is a clean final product, kernels free from germ and skin, with no need of further processing.
