The company was established in 1967, near the Bhatia bauxite mines, where one of the finest bauxites is available in plenty, in the Jamnagar city on the western coast of India. It started manufacturing artificial emery under the 'Crown' brand, which later on went to become the leading and sought after brand in India. It also found export markets in the South East Asian countries, especially Thailand.
It was taken over by the promoters of 'Prince Emery (India) ', another leading company in the field of artificial emery in 1987. Thus was formed the largest firm manufacturing artificial emery in India or perhaps the world.
Products and Activity:
Since then, the company has concentrated on consolidation and building a strong, widespread and quality dealers' network across the country. In the past two years, the management is concentrating on developing new business contacts in and out of the country, not only for sales, but quality improvement and additional products related to metal polishing.
The 'Crown' brand emery is used especially for polishing of stainless steel articles like kitchenware, automobile accessories, steel balls for ball bearings etc. , apart from being used for deburring, descaling, rice polishing, mfg of flour mill stones, optical lens polishing, and antiskid and non wear oxychloride flooring.

Plant Area: 1, 00, 000=00 sq. feet at Jamnagar and 80, 000=00 sq. feet at Jam-Khambhalia.
Employees: 110 combined at both plants.
