The Warren-Newport Public Library District provides the community with access to information, kindles the imagination of children and adults, and supports lifelong learning. We accomplish our mission by delivering general library services to the public, viz., circulation, reference, reader's advisory, programming, and outreach; as well as ancillary services, such as meeting rooms, computers, wireless hotspot, photocopiers, and voter registration. The District's 55-square mile area covers all or most of Warren and Newport Townships in Lake County, Illinois.
One of the Chicago Tribune's Top 100 Workplaces 2011. Highsmith Innovation Award 2003. North Suburban Library System's "Library of the Year" 1995 and 2000.
