We process essential oil, more specifically, cedar oil or cedar leaf oil (thuja plicata) from western red cedar. The essence of Northern Vancouver Island is oceans, mountains and incredibly lush forests, which includes the western red cedar. Our coastal First Nations People referred to cedar as the Tree of Life, for the gifts of the Tree included: shelter, travel, clothing and much more! As we travel into this millennium, let us carry on the tradition of sharing the gift of the cedar tree. As a First Nations Company we care for our forests.
