When deciding to buy a tortoise for the first time it can be a very confusing and frustrating experience. You will probably find all sorts of different prices and all sorts of conflicting information on their care requirements.

Don't be fooled into buying a tortoise from a company just because the price of their tortoises seem cheap, as often it can be false economy once you have bought the equipment to go with it, not to mention the probability of hefty vets bills due to the tortoises being ill or having been kept in poor conditions, like vivariums etc... Last year we were approached by The Alan Tichmarsh Show, they had seen our website and were very impressed with not only our website but the products and advice we offer . We sent along a number of products which were shown on the ITV show . After the ITV show our local BBC radio station contacted us for an interview on all things Tortoise ! .

January 2012 we were again contacted to be interviewed but this time on BBC radio 2 ( the Simon Mayo Show ) , this interview was on Hibernation and of course we were happy to help.
