Jessie’s own long-term health battles with digestive problems, serious kidney infections, and recurring migraines make her no stranger to the debilitating effects of chronic pain and illness. She has a deep compassion for the patients she works with at Third Coast Healing.

Because of her own personal experience, she is passionate about the power of cannabis medicine to reduce pain, calm inflammation, and strengthen the body’s natural healing systems. Though she still has headaches and other health issues, they are less frequent and less severe thanks to cannabis.

​Before coming to Third Coast Healing, she worked in immigration law in Washington, D.C. and also in the food tech industry. She studied International Relations and the Arabic language at American University in D.C.
