Hi there, my name is Linda and I am a girl who has been passionate about health & fitness for over 20 years now!
My first interest came when I was at the end of high school where I was a skinny girl playing soccer. I knew I needed to bulk up in order to compete with adults. I then started going to gym and eating a lot of food.
I was then able to put on a whopping 25 pounds in 4 short months.
Later on in my life, in fact, it was 2015-2018, I let myself go for over a year while I was travelling the world and packed on 50 pounds. I was very unhappy with the way I looked and decided to set a challenge for myself to lose this weight while maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I ended up losing this weight in 6 months and I am now in the best shape of my life.
I love to study health & fitness books to learn about new diets and find tips on how to improve my physique while staying healthy. Over the years I have tried many diets like intermittent fasting, keto diet and pretty much every diet out there. Some worked and some didn’t but the most important thing I learnt is that there is NO one-size-fits-all diet. Your diet should be determined by your lifestyle, individual goals and tolerances. The optimal diet for weight loss is different than one for gaining muscle.
My mission on The Health Hour is to help you become fitter and healthier in order to live your best life. All it takes is 1 hour of your day, you can do it!
Fitness is NOT just about the size, it’s a lifestyle.
I believe that everyone, regardless of size, age and fitness level, have the power to completely transform their lives, all they need is the right resources to do so. I will be providing you with lots of weight loss and health tips along with the exercises you should be doing to target the right places with the good form. I believe food and diet counts for 80% of your healthy lifestyle and that is why I will also provide you with many healthy recipes that you can easily make for yourself.
