Tef-Cap Industries has developed a proprietary method of sealing the ends of Heat Shrinkable Teflon FEP Tubing that results in a smooth, round, conforming, pinhole-free seal.

Heat Shrinkable FEP Probe Covers are supplied with a .010-inch thick wall, much thicker than conventional TFE, FEP or PFA spray coatings that are often only .001 inch thick. They are chemically inert and FDA compliant.

Encapsulation of costly stainless steel parts nFEP Probe Coversot only expands the life of the probe but increases its potential use in any corrosive environment.

Our FEP Probe Covers are designed to slip over standard size probes and shrink when exposed to a heat source of approximately 300ºF. Specific shrinking instructions are available upon request. A typical probe encapsulation should take no more than two to three minutes.
