Taro entered the Arizona market in June of 1991 with a primary function of acquiring and improving raw parcels of land and selling developed lots for cash or on rolling option basis to single family home builders in order to maximize value to investors. With private investment capital, Taro originated a significant portfolio of investments for clients such as Pulte Homes, Meritage, William Lyon Homes, Trend Homes and Beazer homes. By the early 2000s, Taro had become one of the leading providers of land/lot banking capital to the production homebuilding market in the Southwest.
