Tamarac Fresh Cut Foods Ltd was established over 10 years ago, when two local Kelowna businessmen with backgrounds in apple production in the Okanagan Valley decided to create a facility to slice and package apples for wholesale distribution.

Tamarac Fresh Cut Foods Ltd is a producer and wholesale seller of fresh fruit packages under the brand name of Russ & Tony's. Due to the recent advances in technology, Russ & Tony's fresh sliced products are able to stay fresher for longer periods of time.

The present management of Tamarac Fresh Cut Foods combines an extensive background in apple production and the expertise in food science to ensure quality products. Owners have previously been involved in fruit industry companies and boards, such as the Okanagan North Growers Co-Op, the BC Fruit Growers Association, and the BC Investment Agriculture Foundation.
