2019 was an ideal vintage for producing a vibrant, elegant, and stunning Pinot Noir from the Sonoma Coast. Out of the glass, this wine leads with aromas of dried rose petal potpourri, black raspberry and cranberry fruit notes. Subtle and more savory aromas of tea leaves, thyme and toasted cedar round out the nose. The palate is full and juicy with red and purple berry flavors that lead to a lovely long, bright and energetic finish. As the wine opens and evolves, flavors of cherry cola, hibiscus and graphite add to the nuance and complexity. There is a lovely balance of fresh fruit, subtle savory notes and vibrant acidity on this wine.
