Shining Light Sports LLC is a ministry with a vision for young people to experience quality basketball instruction in a Christian environment. It was developed in 2010 by founder Michael Wilder in an effort to combine athletics with Christianity. Mr. Wilder believes that there is a great need in Christian Schools and Churches for quality summer sports camps and realizes that sports ministries can be a great avenue to reach unsaved youth for Christ. Shining Light Sports LLC offers those Christian organizations an opportunity to host a summer camp at their own location with minimal effort and cost. Shining Light Sports LLC travels around the country conducting quality basketball camps using Christian athletes who are actively pursuing a degree from a Christian college. Through this ministry opportunity it is our vision that many young souls will come to a saving knowledge of Christ and have a closer walk with God.
