Product Details
Vertical SMD Pogo Pin Connectors, also known as SMD Pogo Pin Connectors, Pogo Pin connectors, or Surface Mount Spring-Loaded Connectors, are component connectors used to connect conductive or signal paths on a circuit board.
The Vertical Pin Connector mainly consists of two core components: the Pogo Pin and the housing, which are assembled using precision molds and specialized equipment. The Pogo Pin features an inclined plane structure design internally, which, during operation, generates a lateral force through contact with the spring on the inclined plane, ensuring that the pinhead maintains stable contact with the inner wall of the pin tube. This design allows the electrical current to primarily pass through the gold-plated Plunger and Body, thereby achieving stable and extremely low contact resistance, ensuring a stable and reliable connection even with frequent mating and unmating.
The installation method for the Rtench Vertical SMD Pogo Pin Connector uses SMT (Surface Mount Technology) automatic pick-and-place reflow soldering technique.
This process includes the following steps:
1. An SMT automatic pick-and-place machine places the Vertical SMD Pogo Pin Connector onto a PCB (Printed Circuit Board) that has been printed with solder paste.
2. The assembly is then heated using a reflow soldering process, which melts the solder paste and, upon cooling, solidifies, thereby completing the permanent connection between the connector and the PCB pads.
This installation method is fast, highly precise, and highly automated, significantly enhancing production efficiency and product quality.
