In 2012, Season Group identified that many of its customers were looking for support in the area of Embedded Systems. Therefore the company acquired DSP Design in the UK and subsequently renamed the company Season Design Technologies (SDT). The team at SDT now provides design, development and supply of x86, ARM and MIPS standard, off-the-shelf Embedded computer solutions and customized Embedded computers – as well as complete systems design and manufacturing.

We aim to work in partnership with the customer to develop and deliver a tailored solution which can often be based on existing tried and tested SDT designs – thereby reducing timescales and minimizing risk. Supply of off-the-shelf standard Products is available either ex-stock or on short lead-times. These products cover a range of software options (including; Windows CE, Windows Embedded Compact, Windows XP, Windows 10, Android and Linux), which can be customized to a customer’s individual requirements.

Our products are differentiated in the market by providing long-term continuity of supply (with some products having been in the market, unchanged, for over 10 years), low power consumption, high connectivity, high reliability and high quality technical support. The long-term commitment to a design is particularly valued by our customers that operate in highly regulated markets – as the stability of our products minimizes the customer’s cost of product approvals.
