I am a native of Lahti, I went to my school in Lahti. I worked in investment banking in London for 25 years. We live in Asikkala on the shores of Lake Vesijärvi. I work as an authorized representative in Asikkala Municipal Council. I was an active deputy commissioner last season.

I am the chairman of the Kurhilan-Hillilä village community. I love to experience community, people working together for the good of the community.

In the summer of 2021, I took a municipal initiative to find out the well-being of the elderly living at Asikkala's home, supported by 19 other municipal election candidates, through the party field. The aim of the initiative was to find out before the start of Päijät-SOTE how Asikkala's elderly people and carers can do home care in the midst of a shortage of staff and with little support from carers. The initiative went through with a much larger number of votes than would have been needed, and the municipality will hold a press conference on the results in February.
