The ambitious young specialists, the leaders of the company, unmistakably determined manufacture of light-weight metal building systems, manufacture/import of sandwich-panels and related consulting/engineering services to be altogether a promising trend of their work. Thus SARCO-Service Company filled its niche in the Moldovan building market at once. The company rapidly developed and by 2006 it became one of the leaders in the sandwich-panels construction business with a 20% market share. SARCO-Service Company is an official associate of Italrec Holding (Italy) in Moldova and a legal person registered in the city of Chisinau, the capital of MOLDOVA (Rep. Of). It represents a local construction/industrial engineering/consulting consortium specialized in the manufacturing of sandwich construction panels, construction/building and installation of civil, commercial and industrial objects on the territory of Moldova, as well as in providing related engineering consulting services (engineering studies and works, project technical/architectural designs, etc. ).

Besides that especially since 2005 SARCO-Service started to promote energy-efficient and environmental technologies, including related consulting/engineering services, system integration and installation part as a full package. We consider that the energy efficient technologies market in Moldova will be a booming one over the next 2-3 years given the rising energy and fuel costs. In this regard it should be noted that Moldova is in a very disadvantageous position because it has to import about 98% of primary energy resources to cover its basic energy needs and the energy intensity is 2-3 times higher compared to western countries' level. The power balance is also a problem given that about 65-70% of used electricity is supplied from abroad to Moldovan customers.
