Ribnjačarstvo Končanica d.d. is company founded in year 1900 by the flow of river Ilova. Main activity of the company is freshwater aquaculture. Many different species of fish are grown in the ponds of Ribnjacarstvo Koncanica, but main production is production of carp. Other species grown here are bighead carp, silver carp, gras carp, catfish, pike, zander and prussian carp. In our new breeding house we are producing fish fry – juvenile fish. Other activities that we are offering in our company is tourism, fishing, hunting, fish processing, fish wholesale and retail. Area of Ribnjačarstvo Končanica is bigger than 1400 hectars, out of which is about 1000 hectars of water surface. In this huge area for fish production, we have produced in 2011 about 500 tons of freshwater fish, and plan is to increase production in the nearby future.
