The Company was founded in 1954 by the late Robert Dan as a paper mill consulting firm, later expanded into supplying machinery to the paper industry, as well as beltings and conveyors to other industries.

In 1957, the company offers and distributes conveyor belts from Siegling, Germany.

In 1960, R. Dan and Co., Inc. started to manufacture conveyor systems and installed baggage handling systems for airports.

In 1993, the company started a joint venture with Sulzer Paper Technology later known as Voith Paper.

In 2000, the ownership reverted back to the Dan Family.

In 2007, the company started a cooperation with Andritz AG, Austria for Tissue Machine.

R. Dan and Co., Inc., today remains a licensee of Voith Paper, and serves the paper industry and conveying needs by providing high quality equipment and services.

With its quality manufacturing facilities and modern engineering offices, the company has become the market leader in paper mill equipment and conveyors in the Philippines.
