The Radio City Music Hall has a seating capacity of 5,960 and was originally intended as part of the construction of the Metropolitan Opera House. However, in 1929, the plans were changed to create the Rockefeller Center, which included two main buildings: the International Music Hall and the Center Theatre. The Music Hall, designed by Edward Durell Stone and Donald Deskey in an Art Deco style, showcases a variety of artworks. The venue is particularly notable for its auditorium, which was the largest in the world at the time of opening.
