Standard tools or 1-off specials can be tipped with Polycrystalline Diamond (PCD), Tungsten Carbide (TCT) or High Speed Steel (HSS). We produce a wide range of tools from PCD router cutters, Saws and spindle tooling, TCT Dowel Drills and Router cutters for a variety of materials.Prima Tooling was formed in 1979 by three partners, each with 10 years experience of manufacturing woodworking tools in Tungsten Carbide and HSS.In 1987, Prima moved to its own factory in Brentwood, which has since doubled in size to accommodate the flourishing PCD side of the business.Prima's success with PCD tooling has been brought about by utilizing the experience we gained in conventional woodworking tool manufacture and by investing in the latest automatic CNC machinery to ensure that each PCD tool is exactly what each customer needs.
