I have loved boating since I was a young boy growing up in New Jersey. In the summers, my family would go to the Jersey shore and rent a small boat and we would go fishing and crabbing in Barnegat Bay. Every year we would take a vacation to Florida and stay with my Grandparents near Ft. Lauderdale and Miami. We would go deep sea fishing on a party boat named “Sea Legs”. I caught my first kingfish on that boat. I’ll never forget the hammerhead shark that the captain caught while kite fishing. When I graduated college, I knew that I wanted to live in Florida and I moved close to my Grandmother. Bought my first boat that year too. Over the last 40 years, I’ve owned many boats from 14’ to 33’ and fished everywhere from Key West and Florida Bay to Cape Canaveral. I especially loved fishing the finger channels in Biscayne Bay. I discovered the Sebastian area in the early 1980’s in search of clams. Found more clams than the boat could carry. I wish I could say that now. My parents retired to Sebastian in 1992 and I made regular trips to visit them and go fishing. I finally moved to Sebastian in 2009 and to Barefoot Bay in 2019. I purchased Peacemaker in April of 2018 and earned my Captains License in December of that year. As I approached retirement age, I wanted to pursue my dream of operating a charter boat, taking tourist out fishing and cruising the intercoastal. I am now fulfilling that dream.
