This sophisticated examination takes a scan of the retina resulting in an image similar to a photograph but also measures the thickness of the nerve fibre layer - important in the detection of glaucoma - and reveals changes in the retina, for example in Macula Degeneration. PLEASE NOTE: We are closed for lunch 12.30 - 1.30

In addition to the standard comprehensive eye examination we offer Retinal Laser Scanning. Whilst obtaining an image of the retina, the harmless laser also measures the thickness of the retina aiding in the early detection of changes which can arise with macula degeneration, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and other problems
