Parkinson Dodson & Cheung is a award winning well established design led architectural practice. The practice is a Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Chartered Architectural Practice and is managed by two RIBA and Architects Registration Board (ARB) registered Architects – Mr T John K Dodson and Mr Sylvester L H Cheung. Our office has extensive experience on a wide range of residential, commercial and industrial projects and is also specialised in architectural conservation. We have a considerable and varied client base ranging from private individual clients to corporate organisations; from local authorities to community based charitable bodies.

We understand that each architectural project is unique; we take sensitive and practical design principles to every project to create proportionate and user-friendly schemes which reflect the clients requirements and respect the surrounding built environment. The concept of 'sustainable development’ is also high on our design agenda. We strive to incorporate our up to date knowledge on environmental friendly and energy efficient technologies into our design consideration, providing cost effective building solutions for our clients as well as to ensure the carbon impact to our environment is minimised throughout the construction and beyond. Architectural Conservation is also one of the key design theories in our design as we believe that historic fabrics within our existing built environment still plays a pivotal role towards delivering sustainable development in modern day society. Flexible adaptation to our existing building stocks will always be considered as a design solution. A large sector of our projects involve historic structures and many are classified as statutory listed buildings and monuments; we have the knowledge and experience to work on these projects along with other interested parties such as English Heritage, local authorities conservation officers, archaeologists to develop reasonable solutions to suit all parameters.
