Beer philosophy;

Noerrebro Bryghus seeks to brew and serve the best and most varied beer in Denmark.

Our beer philosophy is the basis of our beer. First and foremost we seek variousness, that we at any given time can offer a varied selection of beer types and taste to our guests. We therefore cover sweet, sour, bitter, strong, mild and dry beer, so as to offer a beer for every taste and mood, and a beer that can accompany all of our dishes served in the restaurant.

Since Noerrebro Bryghus' opening in September 2003 we have brewed no less than 28 different beer types, each and every one of them with its own personality. We aim for characteristic beer which is achieved through uncompromising attitude to the ingredients water, malt, hops and yeast and a thourough and proud handling of the hand crafted brewing process with a good imagination when preparing recipies.

The inspiration for the hand brewed beer at Noerrebro Bryghus comes mainly from USA where the micro brewing culture has evolved over several decades. We share the American breweries openness in brewing. Taste is at any time more important than following the rules of old beer culture. The same goes for the choice of ingredients - we choose the ingredients that give the best taste in the final result.

We are also inspired by other more classic beer cultures. So don't be surprised to find German, Belgian, Bohemian and English inspired beer types.
