NMC Tours Limited was founded in April 2008 by Glenn & Adrian Smith following the sale of their former company “Northumbria Coaches” to Go North East. The father & son retained the coaching element of the business and upon looking for office space came upon an affordable, double fronted shop in Newbiggin by the Sea, from this location NMC Tours began, advertising one day trip per month & 1 coach holiday per month in the shop window.

During this time talks began with Gardiners Travel of Spennymoor, a reputable County Durham company dating back some 75 years, in May 2008 Gardiners Travel & their coaching operation was acquired and Gardiners NMC was born.

Over the coming months Gardiners programme was revitalised and joined together with NMC’s to offer one, new attractive brochure, boasting minimum 3* star plus hotels, easy to access pick up points throughout the North East, home collection service & much, much more....
