MOT TESTING STATION MOT WHILE YOU WAIT

Annual Vehicle M.O.T.

If your vehicle is three years old or older it will require an MOT test to be performed annually. Originally derived from the Ministry of Transport, the test confirms that the vehicle met the minimum safety and environmental standards required by law.

The MOT test does not guarantee the longevity of the vehicle or its mechanical condition. The engine, clutch and gearbox are not part of the test.

MPR offer full MOT services at our testing centre in Acton, West London. Here we can undertake all of the required testing for cars (MOT Class 4) and vans (MOT Class 7).

What does it cost?

The cost for an MOT at MPR Motors is just £40 or £65 (class 7).

You can renew your MOT up to one month before its expiry date without affecting that date, the earliest date you can test your vehicle is printed on the previous pass certificate, should you have one

Attending for your MOT

When you arrive, please park the vehicle and leave the keys with the receptionist.

You are welcome to wait in our waiting room for the test to be completed, it normally takes approximately 45 minutes.

MOT test result

At the end of the test, the result of the test will be logged immediately on the MOT database and passing vehicles will be issued with an MOT certificate.

Should your vehicle not pass the MOT you will be issued with a failure notification which will include details of the reason.

As standard, we will suggest any necessary repairs to achieve the MOT and are of course happy to undertake those repairs in our garage should you so require.

We offer a free retest within a 10 working day period of test failure.
