In 1976, Jack observed numerous vacation homes that were vacant throughout the year in this beautiful resort community and thus, a burglar's paradise. The security minded Halbrooks recognized the need for a quality security service. He launched Mountain Alarm Systems to serve his community one monitored system at a time.
