Continuing the argument that this is arguably Australia’s best white wine, we have another brilliant, personality-imbued, detailed thing on our hands. The 2018 release is more crystalline and cut, athletic and diamond-edged than 2017 or 2016, though in the tension and velocity of fruit thrust there’s the slip of faint nuttiness, oatmeal, flint, steel and, interestingly, faint green herbs. Beautiful, long, agile and delicious to drink, it’s a wine of incredible pedigree, balance and everything that makes for epic drinking. It’s a tad off the complexity of 2016, but give it some cellar time and watch it sing. Or drink now and just have a damn good time.'
