Inspired by the dreams of five generations, Miramont Estate Vineyards celebrates a tradition of agricultural excellence begun by the Pechan (pronounced pay-ahn) family more than a century ago. In the 1840s, Mathias Pechan immigrated to the United States from Europe and began farming in the heartland of Minnesota. Since then, each generation of the Pechan family has continued this proud tradition. Our dream of building a small vineyard and winery is rooted in our family history and fond memories of working the land.

In 1997, our family established Miramont Estate Vineyards. Nestled against the backdrop of the Sierra Nevada foothills, our vineyard and boutique winery are located in the Lodi appellation of California. Our Cabernet Sauvignon grapes thrive in the deep, rich redding soil and Mediterranean climate where they are bathed in golden sunlight, caressed nightly by cool Pacific breezes, and then harvested under starlight to protect their luscious flavor at its peak.

Currently, Miramont Estate bulk wines are provided to over 30 wineries in over 12 states across America. Our Celestial brand Cabernet Sauvignon is bottled in three distinct expressions and is available in eight states and in Guangdong, China. In 2008, Miramont introduced the Eclipse brand; a red wine blend of Cabernet, Zinfandel and Syrah. We also are a broker / agent of bulk and bottled wine from other local family wineries.
