1997 was a year of real expansion for the Millbrook Bevan Group which as well as taking Bevan Commercials has also received AA approval for its mechanical repair workshop. The take-over of Bevan Commercials in Swansea and Carmarthen in February involved a considerable investment for managing director Mike Fussell who set up Millbrook Recovery in 1981. The deal involved moving the firms entire operations from Landore to the three-acre former Bevan Commercials site in Morfa Road. The company has also took over the MAN service centre.

The Morfa Road site is fully equipped with four-pits and four ramps in the workshops and is open from 7am to 5pm mon - fri and 7am to 12pm on Saturdays with trained staff to repair and service your car van or commercial vehicle. We also carry out steam cleaning of underbodies and engines at our Swansea depot. The company has more than 20 recovery vehicles and offer a 24-hour breakdown service for cars and commercial vehicles. On-the-spot repairs and safe storage which is backed up by full garage services. After the merger of MAN Truck & Bus UK Ltd and Erf UK LTD in 2004 we decided to end our association with MAN and return to trading as an independent operation servicing all makes of trucks. In the summer of 2008 we moved our operations to Bruce road Fforestfach
