The Practice has its foundations in the private architectural practice of Matthew Trotter, who started work in the early 1950's in Stockton-on-Tees.

Robin Miller joined Matt Trotter in partnership in September 1960 and the Practice became known by its present style Matthew TROTTER & MILLER.

Based in Stockton-on-Tees on Teesside and covering North Yorkshire, Tees Valley, Durham and beyond, Matthew TROTTER & MILLER, Chartered Architects, specialise in turning your building ideas into reality. The Practice, established in 1960, is broad-based, tackling a wide variety of projects from simple house extensions to large scale multiple housing schemes as well as a variety of commercial, industrial, retail and health care projects. We offer design only services or design and project management and can tailor our services to your specific requirements.
