Each time I stand before a blank canvass I methodically select magnificent colors with the aid of my brush, a brush that I use like a weapon to cut into any world. Most of my life has been spent in the act of painting. When I paint, I use all that I have inside me as a human being, to reach that space which has been inspired by my spiritual belief and imagination, a place unseen inside all of us.

I don’t think one can understand art without knowing and sharing about life, people and nature. When I finally finish with a particular painting, I often find myself surprised by the outcome. It is painting that has carried me through life, arousing all the senses and most of all it’s given me awareness of my own place in space and time. I will continue to paint until I can no longer lift a brus
