Konan Medical USA, Inc. is the market leader in specular microscopy. The Company was incorporated in 2008 with headquarters in Southern California. The Company's parent company, Konan Medical Inc. (Japan), was established more than fifty years ago, has been in the specular microscope business since 1979 and holds over 1,600 patents. Konan has a significant majority share of the healthy and growing market for devices used to image the corneal endothelium. Konan is developing addtional diagnostic equipment with a focus on ophthalmology and optometry.
