Zeolite lattice, it is not water-soluble. When used as an ion-exchange filter medium the Zeolite can reduce ammonium

content of circulating freshwater from aquaculture systems by as much as 97%.

Because of its high cation exchange capacity, Zeolite can be used to capture and bind ammonia in managed environments such as fish farming, fish aquarium and fish transportation. To assist in keeping your fish pond clean and clear consider pumping

the circulating discharge through a simple packed bed of Zeolite. You should notice a dramatic difference after just one day, the product is totally inert and will cause your fish no harm.
