J.R.Clark started his music career as a studio engineer before deciding to become a hip hop artist. As he developed a unique music style, he founded his own record label, Vintage Sound Entertainment. In 2015, J.R.Clark released his first album, That Weekend, and in 2016, he followed it up with Late Night Driving. After headlining Shaggfest, in 2018 he released Sunset Symphony, which also features Stalley, Cookin' Soul, and Smoke DZA. In 2019, he released Antique Summer, which also features Fendi P from Jet Life Records. His music has been described as having a “gritty and smooth flow, mixed with big symphony type beats.”
