In 1965, Ben Newhouse founded our company as Illinois Time Recorder. For over 20 years, ITR concentrated on time clocks, master clocks, and other time recording equipment.

In 1989, the business was sold to the Neville family. We soon expanded to include a systems division, becoming a factory-authorized distributor for FCI (now Gamewell-FCI) fire alarm and Telecor intercom systems.

We have expanded over the years to provide several types of low-voltage integrated systems. We are currently an authorized dealer for over 20 different manufacturers.

In 2009, we re-branded our company. The name Illinois Time Recorder did not encompass everything that we do. We created a new logo and a new moniker: ITR Systems.

We are a UL-listed for fire alarm service, required by municipalities such as Downers Grove and Orland Park.
