International Microbial Associates is a consulting firm that helps clients resolve problems thought to be caused by bacteria, fungi, and other microbes. Few companies have an industrial microbiologist on staff that can quickly determine if a problem is caused by microbes. Consulting includes audits of factories or mills on slime/biofilm related issues that cause production problems. We also help clients with new product development that can include design of proper challenge testing to avoid product spoilage and/or add properties to the new product that could include adding biocides for mold resistance or beneficial microbes.
