The industry for the purpose of this scheme is defined to include all such activities, which help conduct socio-economic / market research and / or prepare plans / schemes for development of an area / human resource development etc. It also covers all such social functions which would generate awareness of a programme or scheme for development, contribute to enhancing capability of human beings, provide guidance to disadvantaged section of the society and protect human and natural resources etc.
