In 1921 two Italian immigrants started to distribute Cachaca produced by small mills in Pirassununga, countryside of Sao Paulo and that was the core of one of the biggest producers of Cachaca in Brazil nowadays.

Industria de Bebidas Pirassununga has been praised worldwide, and has won many prizes including SFSC (San Francisco Spirits Competition), which is the biggest competion of spirits in USA.
