IIUM Trading Sdn Bhd was incorporated on 26 October 2001 with the objective of participating in the trading activities as a means of generating profit, contributing financially to its holding company, IIUM Holdings Sdn Bhd and ultimately to the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) .

IIUM Trading Sdn Bhd has since progressed in business while upholding its commitment in Islamic principles. This success has resulted in its long-term plans of forming and establishing joint ventures with various business entities in its expansion drive.
