MOPSO BUFFER CAS NO.68399 77 9
MOPSO is a zwitterionic organic chemical buffer that does not chelate with certain metal ions and is used in biochemistry and molecular biology. In biological experiments, as an important pH-stabilizing reagent, it can be used to prepare stable substrate solutions and is the preferred buffer for low-temperature biochemical work.
MOPSO belongs to the morpholine series of buffers. The applicable pH range is 6.2-7.6, and the solubility in water at 0°C is 0.75 M. Because MOPSO has an OH group, this group can interact with the water group around the isopropyl group of the hydrophobic substance, thereby changing the hydration state of the polymer. In experiments, MOPS free acid can be used with sodium hydroxide or MOPSO sodium salt to adjust the pH of the solution.
Desheng is a source manufacturer of MOPSO buffers. So far, it has 17 years of experience in R&D, production and use.
MOPSO Details:
Due to the low ionic mobility, MOPSO buffers are often used as carrier electrolytes in capillary electrophoresis. MOPSO buffer is also required in purification of proteins by chromatography. MOPSO interacts with the peptide backbone of bovine serum albumin (BSA) and stabilizes BSA against heat denaturation. It is inert to most substances and is specially used for the research of organelles and highly volatile, pH-sensitive proteins and enzymes. If you need MOPSO buffer, Desheng can provide you with pure white MOPSO crystalline powder, which is controlled by a professional team from raw materials to processing, with excellent properties, high purity and stable process.
MOPSO Product Advantages:
High solubility in water;
Good stability, can control a constant pH range for a long time;
It is inert to a variety of chemical reagents and enzymes, does not participate in and does not interfere with the biochemical reaction process, and has no inhibitory effect on enzymatic chemical reactions;
Small salt effect;
Does not form complexes or precipitates with metal ions;
It is not easy to penetrate the biofilm;
Small light absorption in the wavelength range of ultraviolet and visible light;
Ion concentration, solution composition, temperature, etc. have little effect on dissociation.
