HSK East Corporation was founded by 3 Filipinos and 2 Japanese professionals. The corporation was formerly known as Cuenda Manufacturing Co., Inc., an importer of automotive parts and a producer of herbal tea products (Green Forest Brand) in the Philippines. The HSK East Corporation was incorporated to continue producing the herbal products of the former corporation.

A new plant in Imus Cavite was built following the strict inspection monitored and advised from the Philippines Food and Drugs Administration (FDA formerly known as BFAD) and new facilities were put up for higher standards.
