Gold Scarab Fine Tea was formed fifteen years ago to service the South African herbal tea export market. Because we prefer not work with more than one client per region we offer three primary services to select export clients.

Firstly, we establish and manage efficient and dependable supply chains within South Africa for our tea clients, allowing them the full cost, marketing and social benefits associated with sourcing from country of origin, coupled with very high standards of communication and quality. We set up and manage a transparent and customised supply chain to specifically suit your needs. You place an order with us; we handle the entire packaging process.

Secondly, we supply bulk blended tea. We are specialists at developing new herbal tea products and improving existing ones. We combine a creative passion for tea blending with an efficient and professional approach to manufacturing. We have an established track record in developing and formulating tea ranges and products that have enabled our clients to gain and sustain important market share and more importantly, ensured that thousands of tea drinkers are able to enjoy healthy products of a superior quality, and exotic taste.

Our last focus area is the supply of Rooibos Dry Powdered Extract. We offer a wide range of high quality cold and hot water soluble Rooibos Powder Extracts. Our extracts are manufactured with either fermented (red) rooibos plant material or green (unfermented) Rooibos plant material. Our extracts are for use in water soluble applications like iced teas (RTDs), concentrates, Chai or other dry tea powders, and of course rooibos skin care and cosmetic products.
