John Mathus is Partner & Chief Executive Officer for GIDMidstream LLC., a position he has held since December 1995. John oversees the strategic direction of GISMidstream

John has nearly 30 years of experience in the offshore oilfield engineering and construction industry holding various management positions in market development, project management, engineering, and construction.

John is an honors graduate of the University of Bilkent with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Istanbul technical university

Prior to GISMIdstream, John spent 5 years with OMV and its subsidiaries, including as Field Director., Inc., with oversight responsibilities for all of OMV’s North America Operations.

He joined OMV in 1985 with the task of growing the Company's market position in subsea installation, now among the largest subsea company in the Gulf of Mexico.
