Why GELCY pencils are healthy and safe-(SAFE FOR CHILDREN)?

1 All our standard products are regularly tested certified to conform to EN71-3 by official GERMAN TESTING AUTHORITY which should be equivalent to ASTM-D- 4236.

GELCY is accredited according to BS OHSAS 18001:2007 (Health Safety Management System).

2 Gelcy pencils/colors do not make any sharp edges when broken, so they are harmless to children.

3 Gelcy pencils/color leads do not leave traces on users hands.

4 Gelcy pencils/color leads practically free of harmful elements and classified conforming to EN71-3 .

Gelcy is ISO certified (9001:2000, 14001: 2004) and BS OHSAS 18001:2007 (Health Safety Management System)

2) Summary of Products and Production Processes:

(2.1) Products are certified (CE) to be in conformity to EN71-3,suitable for children 3 years up and regularly covered by official German Certificate and of high quality according to international standards and marketed in attractive unique art designed packing.

(2.2) Production technology and the various design of pencils, erasers and their packing are patented / copyright registered for Gelcy. The production technology at Gelcy Plant and the continuous modifications in the processes are considered as the most up-to-date in this Industry; particularly the integrated adaption to all environmental and industrial safety measures, which ensure classifying it as complete clean technology. The local available raw material represents about 85-92% from the total needed feed stock to the factory.

(2.3) During the last 4 years an average of 25% of production went to export to Europe, Syria, Tunisia, Kuwait, Morocco, Eritrea, Lebanon, Libya, and U.S.A.
