New Invention Mild Solvent Ink for Epson SureColor Eco Solvent Printer
There are many types of inkjet inks, and even solvent inks are subdivided into dozens. According to the nature of the ink, the ink can be divided into three types: UV ink, solvent ink, and water-based ink.
Printer ink Epson refers to an ink system formed by dispersing pigments or dyes in a carrier using an organic solvent or a solvent-based polymer film-forming agent as a carrier. The solvent ink uses a water-insoluble solvent as the main component to dissolve the colorant. The colorant here may be either a pigment or a dye. Hp printer inks usually consist of colorants, solvents, surfactants, humectants, pH adjusters, driers, metal ion chelating agents, preservatives, and other additives.
Advantages and disadvantages of printer ink Epson Ink:
Due to the high durability of the printed image quality of solvent inks and the low cost of raw materials, it has a huge market in large-format and wide-format applications. Although the solvent volatilization easily causes environmental pollution, its development in the European and American markets is restricted, especially the outdoor image has better durability, and its price is still lower than that of water-based ink, and it does not require a film, which improves production efficiency. Solvent inkjet printers have opened up areas where billboards, body advertisements and all previous printing were impossible. In the ink market in China, solvent-based inks are still in a period of vigorous development. In order to deal with the problem of environmental pollution, a new type of ink ECO-solvent ink (ECO-solvent ink) began to develop rapidly. This kind of ink with less environmental pollution will be the future development direction of solvent ink.
However, the disadvantage of solvent inks is that during the drying process, harmful substances are discharged into the air through the evaporation of the solvent, affecting the indoor and outdoor air quality. Although solvent ink dries faster than water-ink, it still takes some time.
Several situations where solvent inks are prone to occur in use:
Epson solvent inks contain components such as anti-oxidation, anti-ultraviolet, and volatile, so the temperature required for use has a certain range. If there are pasting, disconnection, etc. in continuous printing, the reasons are as follows:
Working environment temperature is too high will be confused
Because the sublimation solvent ink is suitable for use in an environment of about 25 ℃, if the temperature is too high or too low will affect its normal work. For example, if the temperature of the external environment is too high, the temperature of the ink itself will increase, causing its relative viscosity to decrease, and the phenomenon of pasting will occur. This phenomenon occurs.
The phenomenon of the machine is: the same ink will be good and bad during use
Solutions: (1) Replace the ink with higher viscosity (2) Use air conditioners and humidifiers to maintain the working temperature and humidity in the room (3) Find a way to cool down the spray head (such as installing a fan).
The secondary ink cartridge is not cleaned regularly or the filter is out of date and easily broken.
Because in the machine work, the secondary ink cartridge has been making a reserve tank, and because the ink is a volatile suspended liquid, it will form a sediment in the secondary ink cartridge, which will not be cleaned for a long time. If the sediment enters the nozzle, it will form a plug and be generated Disconnected.
The filter is a consumable product, and its service life is generally 3 months. If it is used for a long time, it will lose its filtering effect and will not play the role of filtering ink.
Other causes and solutions
Possible causes: (1) The liquid level of the secondary ink cartridge is too high; (2) The viscosity of the ink is too low; (3) The voltage of the nozzle is too high; (4) The ink is deteriorated
