Fruit Modena Group acts as a “value collaborator” in the production and marketing of processing tomatoes, a sector that recently expanded and is mainly linked to the historic producers of the group located in the municipalities of the Reggio Emilia lowlands, not far from the Po River.

The sowing and transplanting of the tomato plants start every April, and the fruit is ready for harvest between August and the first half of September.

These crops are taken directly to companies specialized in processing this vegetable, so it does not even pass through the factories of the Fruit Modena Group.
