Frost Lake provides full stump-to-dump harvesting operations for both long logs and precision measurement cut to length delivery specifications. Frost Lake’s processes adhere to clients’ ISO 9000 certifications. Frost Lake participates in a logistical management system with many of its client mills. Information is shared online through a proprietary “Frost Lake Load Times” intranet accessed securely via the Frost Lake website. Drivers, Contractors, and Mills can access the intranet to see the schedule for hauling times, radio frequencies, safety alerts, directions to blocks, cycle times and other logistic information.
Frost Lake builds 60 to 100 km of mainline and block road annually, as well as major bridge and culvert installation, maintenance and deactivation. Frost Lake permanently maintains the Leo Creek FSR and the Kazchek operating area roads systems in the Fort St. James Forest District. Year round maintenance includes grading, snow removal, and calcium application in the Fort St James Forest District.
