Our company has been in the tea business for well over 110 years and is

presently exporting around 9 Million Kilograms per annum. We mainly

concentrate on value added exports such as tea bags, packets etc., and

export tea to Middle Eastern countries as well as to U.K., Europe, Japan,

and Australia etc. We have been within top 10 exporters of value added teas

from Sri Lanka over the past several years.

Our factory is equipped with the latest IMA C 27 Staple-less String and Tag

machines, 10 IMA C 23 String and Tag Tea Bag machines (of which 9 are

capable of being converted to pack envelope bags) and 3 IMA C 21 machines

with 1 Universal pack VBU machine, two carton formers and 3 BFB

Over-wrappers.

Our company is the largest exporter of Tea Bags to Japan, which position we

have held for the past 4 years. This achievement would indicate the high

level of quantity and quality standards we maintain. We concentrate mainly

for hygienic teas as we are ISO and HACCP Certified .We are very conscious

about the quality of the teas we supply.

Whilst we focus mainly on exports in the value added form, we also do export

tea in bulk, which accounts for approximately 30% of our total volume.

Our tea's range from Ceylon black tea, Flavoured, Herbal varieties ect.,

enabling you to call us the One stop Tea shop in Sri Lanka.

Our product range also includes Green Tea, which is manufactured at our own

factory with modern machinery fully geared to manufacture Japanese and

Chinese types under one roof. Our factory is also certified to manufacture

Organic Green Tea and can provide the Control Union Certificate (SKAL).

James Finlay's also own 2 plantation companies which own more than 40 tea

estates natured under our wing.
